The staff - totally professional and nothing was too much trouble, very
obliging and went out of their way to give us the best possible
experience.
The facilities - top quality and very well designed. Relaxing decor throughout, comfortable bed, warm room, excellent additonal features (DVDs, toiletries, guest room with internet, extremely detailed visitor information, the best I've ever seen).
Breakfast - good choice and excellent provision for specific dietary needs.

I found Lingwood Lodge to be very clean and comfortable, the
owners/staff were very friendly which means allot when you are on
your own, the room was excellent and the dining room and breakfast were
very good indeed, I had stayed as a stopover on the way back from
Scotland and I will certainly book another room there. Very good indeed.
Also it was within easy reach of the town centre. I wish I had stayed
there on the way to Scotland. The service was excellent throughout and
would recommend it o.

The hotel is located just a few minutes walk from lake Windermere in the Lake District, the lodge itself is a lovely family run business with just a few rooms. The decor was nice and clean with modern and new looking furnishings. There was even a DVD library that anyone could just borrow a DVD from. It is also in walking distance from the town with its shops and restaurants/pubs. Would definitely recommend it.

Lovely flowers etc surrounding building. In a great location, 5 mins
walk into town/to the lake. Lots and lots of information regarding

Just the most perfect stay in an exceptionally clean, warm and very welcoming guest house. The best hospitality tray I have ever seen and a superb breakfast that set us up for the day. I am really fussy about where I stay and was not disappointed in any way. I cannot praise it enough.
If there is a better B & B in the lake district then it must be something very special.
Lingwood Lodge is a superb hotel and we only wished that our stay was longer than 2 nights. We would be very happy to stay there again.

Excellent accomodation, extremely clean and to top it off a great
breakfast with real butchers sausage. Only very slight niggle was the

The hotel was beautifull,the bedrooms were lovely decoarated to a high standard,beds and pillows so comfortable no need to take shower gel shampoo or body lotion even a sewing set and cotton wool buds.Food was excellent so much to choose from well presented and hot.

Staff greeted us by name. No expense spared even a complementary grooming kit as we as the usual shampoo/shower gel and plenty of drink options, even chocolate and mints. Room clean no faults. Breakfast the best we have had, thank you.
Judy, the host, is really making her efforts to create best experience for every guests here. Room has awesome view, breakfast is fantastic. We felt at home. We deeply appreciate her help and we had a wonderful stay at Lingwood Lodge.
The room was large, very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There were lovely touches such as the hospitality tray, nice toiletries, bottles of water and DVDs to borrow. It was a short stroll to Bowness.
Everything. Rooms were spotless. Staff very helpful. breakfast excellent. We were even permitted to take our own drinks and the staff kindly provided us with wine glasses to have a drink with friends on the patio area.
It is not just a regular B&B and it is the best place I have lived. The owner are very friendly and lovely. They made the house very clean and comfortable. I love the breakfast!

Whilst Lingwood Lodge is a professionally run business our hostess, Judy, made us feel very welcome on arrival and during our stay...making it very hard to leave "home" on check-out.

Walls quite thin, could hear others quite clearly (this problem was
noted in their welcome pack). Shower lacked pressure but did the job

Breakfast was only average. We were also unlucky in having a group of teenagers next door to us who woke us up repeatedly.
We stayed in room 3 on the ground floor next to the stairs and beneath another room so it was a bit noisy when people were coming and going, it didn't really bother us as we were only there one night anyway. Other than that there was nothing not to like! Great last minute find!.
