New Oceans Hotel is Located on Blackpool’s Promenade, just a few meters from the beach. It features a large bar with a pool table and is just half a mile from Blackpool South Rail Station. New Oceans rooms are decorated using neutral colours and all come equipped with an en suite bathroom. They feature a flat-screen TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Blackpool Zoo can be reached in 10 minutes by car and Pleasure Beach, an amusement park, is less than a mile away. The Blackpool Tower, a popular tourist attraction, is less than a 20 minute walk from the hotel.

For starts loved the hotel it was clean and the staff was very kind and it was on the main road and it was right infront of the beach the hotel made me feel i was somewere Abroad on holiday i realy injoyed my stay and 100% going back to the same hotel again an again thankyou. The room was excellent value for money my son was very impressed with the wide choice of tv chanels although the resturant was not complet from referb it has left us wanting to go back soon staff were so approchable.

Stayed in room 16 and it looked like it had a new bathroom and the shower was amazingggg and a lovely sea view room. The location of the hotel was great as it was across road from beach and within walking distance from all attractions. We were provided with a good home cooked breakfast every morning.The bathroom in our room was as big as our bedroom and was modernised compared to bedroom. Plenty hot water and shower very good. There was two little problems on arrival but were sorted rapidly. There is plenty of car parking spaces. Even al. The young lady on reception was very helpful and pleasant but cant say the same for the evening staff seemed to be run by a group of scruffy looking men!. Good location. Good price. Reception staff very helpful. Good for a budget break for group of friends. You pay for what you get, we were in room 16, we had a bed and a shower, what more do you need?. Good price, good location. Bathroom was massive and cleaned to perfection. It looked as though there was quite a lot of upgrading going on. The look from outside and reception area hot water in bathroom. reception area was clean and had recently been renovated. location was ideal for getting to everything. On the seafront, close to pleasure beach. The sea view, the shower. The location and Leaving. Just the sea view. Nothing. Looked quite nice from outside. The comfy mattress. Location. Location. Nothing. i am struggling to come up with anything!. Lugging my case up the stairs, but would have had to do that at most places. thin walls, people coming in late at night woke me. small car park, not properly hoovered carpet and bathroom floor. Heating could be better, was cold at night!. Still in progress of revamping/modernising and as a result some parts were worse than others. Our room was a single with a double bed squeezed into it. There was a chair which had to be put into the bathroom before we could open wardrobe or drawers.We were staying for 5 nights and in all that time rooms weren't cleaned,buckets emptied. We had to ask for clean towels. In the adverts for hotel it says it provides a well stocked bar. On first night could not get any draught beer so did not use bar again. My first impression was a very gruby front door and some parts of the hotel looked very untidy and not very welcoming. Having no heating for a couple of days and no hot water the first morning we were there. Felt these problems should have been sorted before the hotel was opened.Sheets did not fit the bed. no decent tea /coffee in room. The hotel has had some work, nice reception, but once into the corridors, very shabby, and confusing room layout. Some rooms finished well, ours had nice new bathroom, but room looked shabby, cracked tea cup, bathroom windows do not open. Walls paper thin, could hear our neighbours conversation. Bar service good, but bar is shabby, and windows dirty. Not particularly family friendly. Seemed to be very disorganised and need modernising, it needs a good manager. Indian buffet was disappointing after been told by two members of staff it was on then a third came to us and said no buffet just a menu, asked for the menu they had not returned after ten minutes, we went elsewhere. I feel with the right management this hotel could be really good, therefore they could increase the charges per room. Staff a tad bit odd. Wifi not working and the place needed a good bit of paint. Our room looked as though it had been mis treated by somone. It had holes in the wall and the bath room door as if somone had tried to kick it in. I don't think the room had been vaccumed. We had 2 rooms one smelt funny. poor quality bed matress. room wasnt cleaned all week had to request clean towels new toilet rolls milk tea and coffee no clean shower mat available. On going work and noisy work men. The hotel is rather rundown and needs some serious refurbishment. a bit dated. Food room staff. Getting stuck in the lift. The rude night man on reception who just blatenly ignored us. The boiling hot rooms, all night running toilet, uncomfy beds. Dead bird on the roof looking from our window. Smell of sick in the corridors. But suppose it was only £15 each. Where do I start ! Hallways stunk of urine and sick,bedding did not fit, wardrobe doors hanging off,draws broken,bedding dirty,TV remote broken,shower dirty to extent not used,towels smelly and used tampax and toothbrush in bin. rooms were poor quality , carpets were filthy , walls and wood work were in need of repainting .furniture needed replacing , beds were uncomfortable light fittings and alarm were hanging out of the ceiling due to not being fitted properly overall this hotel needs a LOT of work to bing it up to an acceptable standard. room was shabby, bathroom had a number of tiles missing or cracked, decor from the 1970's, carpets needed good clean. Room was filthy, holes in bathroom door, carpet split and lifted up, bed mattress was just a lump of foam so woke with bad back, room not been cleaned as still had rubbish in the bin and someone else's soap in the bathroom. The room, got woke up at 2.00 am by someone knocking on the door asking about a car. The people in room next to us were noisy. We had to wait for 15 mins for someone to take our keys when checking out. Wont be staying here again. Everything else. Very understafffed food not up to standard really poor effort all round. Everything Very very small room Dirty bedding Holes in carpet walls and ceiling Alarm goes off every 5 mins Would not let a animal stay here. Unclean room Bedding that did not fit Punch holes in bathroom door Litter in corridor all weekend. This is not a hotel, if one could imagine what a Crack Den would look like then this would be it, We refused to stay at this place, I would not call it a hotel, bedding was dirty, newspaper stuffed under the window cill, punch holes in walls, very smelly bathroom, could not wait to get out of there, we demanded our money back which was given, still feel dirty at the thought of this place. Almost everything, dirty rooms, holes in walls, very small rooms, wallpaper pealing off walls. Would never stay there again!. Hairs in bed Stains on toilet seat Given no towels No replacement toilet paper Dangerous hair dryer Faulty tv Useless, unfriendly manager Bins not emptied. Dirty rooms - crisps behind bedside cabinet and what looked like coffee granules on the skirting board, no light shade in the bedroom, bed head light not working as no way to turn it on. No remote control for tv. Headboard was a piece of melamine chip board screwed to the wall. Undercooked chicken and slightly warm food on the all you can eat buffet. Ignorant staff, fire alarm going off twice through the night and then management turning it off!. Everything, the hotel was an absolute dump!! Iv had a gd mind to report it to environmental health, it's was like the place has been cleaned...absolutely disgusting wouldn't even let my dog stay there! We checked out after 1 night, even tho we were ment to be there for 3, then tried to complain to get our money back but waste of time, which I'm still angered about.
