  I stayed here for four nights in mid April. Excellent value at £30 per night, especially in view of the superb full English breakfast (8.00 to 9.30). Very pleasant breakfast room, all tables immaculately laid,cereals, juices and toast, bay window overlooking street and a wall mounted flat screen tv for your early morning news fix. He helped me unload and load my car out in the street on arrival and departure, and when on the last day - I stayed in the apartment which was great value for money - it appears to be a converted part of the building rather than a purpose built space, and because of this it isn't the highest quality, still it was clean and spacious enough for a 3-day stay. The staff are friendly (including Phil who might not be everyone's cup of tea)and the location was spot on for a Snowdon Trip. There was even parking right behind the building.

  The warmth and hospitality from the moment we stepped in, the warmth, helpfulness and friendliness of the staff upon arrival and throughout - and it was genuine in the personalities, it came through a natural friendliness. Would highly recommend the Cartref Guesthouse. We will stay again next time we are Caernarfon. We had a lovely overnight stay and will be back.

When we arrived the room was not yet ready (I’m pretty sure we were early) but the staff immediately got on the phone to get the room ready and directed us to a guest lounge and brought a tray of coffee. The bar prices were good, the location was excellent, the hotel was clean and looked very nice and expensive, the buffet breakfast was great with everything you could want (full English, yoghurt , fruit).
