  Staff was excellent. I was scheduled to take an overnight bus after my stay, and they kindly gave me not only a late check-out time, but a ride to the bus station. Additionally, I had a room with a fancy spa shower setup (massage jets, steam, etc.) which was pretty great and was fun to use. Finally breakfast was excellent and more varied than most Turkish breakf - Very good and fairly quiet location in what passes for the old town in Samsun. Close to tramway, transport to the bus station and many cafés and restaurants. Comfortable room with old fashioned furnishings and top-modern hydrotherapy shower. Obliging staff who booked ny bus ticket out and had it ready on my arrival. Breakfast good, many varieties of cheese, olives and jams.

  A taxi at late night from the airport took 10 minutes and about 24 TL. The receptionist was very friendly, and after a quick check in, was shown into the room. The imposing door, high celling, elegant interior was very impressive, The wifi is good.   I enjoyed my one-night stay at the Nur and would recommend it to others. The location is excellent, less than 100 yards from Trabzon's main square, and the hotel doesn't get traffic noise, though the adjacent mosque is loud at the appropriate times. One of us had left her books when we were leaving, they sent the books with a bus to the airport. It was very nice of them. The breakfast was very good. It was served at the top floor, there was a beautiful view. We enjoyed our stay very much.
