  The hotel was in very close proximity to the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, the Topkapi Palace, the Obelisks and the Grand Bazaar. Besides that it was also close to the tram line to Sirkeci and the bus to Taxim. Couldnt have asked for more.   The location of the hotel is superb, right between the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia, yet in a quiet side road. Istanbul is a bustling, noisy, crowded place and the hotel was an oasis of calm after hard days sightseeing and haggling in the bazaars. The restaurant is of Michelin star quality. The quality of service from the st - The location is fantastic - right in the centre of Sultanahmet and easy walking distance to the bazaars, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, Topkapi Palace, cafes and restaurants and the Bosphorus. Beautiful hotel with plenty of history; we stayed in a deluxe room that was so comfortable and quiet with great facilities, views and service. The staff were all really helpful, friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

  The flat was superb - almost brand new - extremely comfortable,spacious, warm and well equipped. It was cleaned daily - there was nothing for us to do. We even had a patio area complete with the usual furniture, which we used for a relaxing drink at the end of each day. The manager in the office was friendly and helpful. We could not fault this flat! - The rooms were immaculately clean and were beautifully furnished. The owner of the hotel provided excellent customer service and was extremely helpful (even to the extent of coming out on his motorbike to guide us to the suites when we were "slightly lost") about all aspects of our stay in Istanbul. Children can't wait to go back for a second visit. Would highly recommend it!!!

  I've really enjoyed the stay in this hotel, one of the best and still new (just opened in mid Dec) ...The staff are very friendly despite the fact I had one small problem with one of the team but he apologized immediately as well as the Manager . This was like a breath of fresh air as I had experienced difficulty with another hotel called best Nobel And Nobel hotel so was beginning to think Istanbul was not good for solo female travellers!!! I have booked again for 6 nights in February so I can fully experience the hotel's fine hospitality

  The history: Agatha Christie wrote her [Murder on the Orient Express] at this hotel. There is a small exhibition area on the fourth floor about this and other historic moments. The elevator from 1895 can still run (though not always in use). They sell postcards and other souvenirs about the hotel at the front desk. Really a piece of history! The Breakfast - A classic hotel, which I've used twice before, in 1995 & 2005, before its recent refurbishment. It's now three times the price, but the grandeur is no longer faded, it's now a true 5-star place. And I'm delighted to say that the refurb hasn't spoilt its character at all, as this is a hotel with more character and history than most! Staff were great, we got a room upgrade, and an extra hour extended checkout wasn't a problem. If we return to Istanbul, it'll be the Pera Palas for us!

  We have stayed at Faik Pasha for two nights. This hotel is an excellent option in İstanbul. We chose this hotel due to the Taksim square protests. It is very close to İstiklal Street but it is located in very secure region of Taksim. The room was very well appointed, real boutique hotel style.   The staff really knows how to do their job - discrete enough but always available and very friendly. The hotel is located in my favorite area of Istanbul, Taksim Square, so all the services are right downstairs.
