They made sure we had a quiet room towards the back (furthest from Sathorn Road, and not on the side facing the Australian Embassy, where the traffic noise seems to come in more). We received a free upgrade to a bigger room (which is always good naturally :) ) in the wing adjacent to the building where the reception is.
