The hotel is very clean and well tended, staff are very helpful and polite, and able to talk english (which is not always the case in Thai hotels). Although there is nothing very extraordinary to this hotel (apart from the building style all in wood) and it is not located in the city centre - it is close to the airport and provides free shuttle service and they arrange whatever you want for you (trips, bycicles, etc.) So if you don't need to stay exactly downtown and close to the main crowds, t.

A good tip is to upgrade your room to the ground floor, so you can open the patio door and jump in the pool ! Picture are representative of what you get !. Everything. It is next to the Saturday market and near the hotel is full of tiny places to eat on the street. Very nice teak wooden building, and very nicely decorated! Staff very friendly and service oriented. And when you do trips they pick you up at the hotel and leave you at the hotel, therefore no problem at all. It is close to a highway. You could hear the noise, but it was not irritating (coming from me who really likes quiteness). I would stay here every time I go to chiang mai. We are regular users of letsbookhotel.com around the world, so a bit old and picky....but this was great...so should not be entering this. Nothing, we loved everything about the Baan U Sabai Boutique House. bit noisy of the family stayed up stair of my room. Sound proofing between room. Not the best location for restaurants or city access. Too noisy because the wall does not prevent other rooms' sounds. A bit nosiy, can hear dog bark and vehicle passing by.
