Baan Sathorn Backpacker/Guesthouse sijaitsee 10 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä Surasakin BTS Skytrain -asemalta. Se tarjoaa yksityisiä huoneita ja makuusaleja sekä ilmaisen Wi-Fi:n yleisissä tiloissa. Majoituspaikassa on kokous- ja pesulapalvelut. Guesthouse on 15 minuutin ajomatkan päässä Mo Chi -linja-autoasemalta ja 20 minuutin ajomatkan päässä Khaosan Roadilta. Suvarnabhumin lentokentälle on 30 minuutin ajomatka. Silom Road on 3 km:n päässä ja Siam Paragon -ostoskeskus 6 km:n päässä. Huoneissa on ilmastointi tai tuuletin. Niihin kuuluu myös jaetut kylpyhuoneet. Asiakkaiden käytössä on suuri ulkona oleva yhteinen alue ja sisäoleskelualue, jolla on taulu-tv. Majoituspaikan vastaanotossa on tallelokero, ja saatavilla on ilmainen yksityinen pysäköintimahdollisuus. Kävelymatkan päässä majoituspaikasta on paikallisia ravintoloita.

I booked room here after seeing a post on CouchSurfing and did not expect much (as they offer such a low price) since I just planned to stay for three days while looking for another place for 5months. However, I was taken aback by the place. This is such a home to me. The owners were so friendly and helpful. The room was a little small but cozy and could definitely fit for group travelers. Even if you travel alone, this is where you would find an escape from the busy Bangkok out there and I ill.

It's located in a quiet area (pretty rare in Bangkok, I guess), just 10 minutes walk for the nearest BTS station (Surasak) and 15 minutes walk from the Central Pier (where you can take the boats to the main turistic zones). The rooms are simply furnished but cozy and – without any doubt – the price is really cheap for all that. Plus, on the outside there's a garden, areas where you can just relax or drink a coffee, and you can play ten. It is a place where you can feel at home. It was perfect for me: "first-timer" to Bangkok. I felt safe and it was easy to get around. If you are an experiance traveler but you want some peace and quiet, it is a place for you. There is a common area inside and outside if you want to talk to other travelers, watch a movie... People who run this backpacker are very friendly. I'm definitely staying there again when I'm back in Bangkok. This place feels like..home. The owners are very sweet and relax, the place is extremely well located (20 mins walk to central pier, 10 mins walk to metro station) but still very quiet. The rooms are very clean, and there is a garden..which is a big PLUS. I stayed 2 months in Thailand, in many different cities and places, from cheap to 4 stars hotels, and I can easily say that this is definitely the best place I've been. This place is perfect. I booked 2 nights but ended up staying 4 nights. When I came back to Bangkok one week later I returned for another night. Everything is clean and the manager is really friendly. She gave tips what to do and how things works in Thailand. Uou feel like home when you live here. Free wifi and coffee all day. I'm coming back if I'm going to Bangkok again. It is the place to be! The location is really good. The staff is awesome. The rooms and restroom are perfectly clean. The common areas are perfect to meet new peoples and to make new friends or too simply relax. After having spent a 1st night in a 4 stars hotel, I have been happy to change for this one. - Great staff, very friendly and realy helpfull. (one of the best during our 3 months travel in Asia) - They realy want to make you feel ad home, great place if you don't like the crowded Khao San road. - It's only 10 minutes walk from the skytrain so not that far from the city. Pity that the scale is only up to 10 because I would give 15 to them. The hospitality was amazing. I arrived late evening and the house lady prepared me lovely dish of noodles...for free!!! I traveled alone and the hosts provide me security and care. Thank you again. - Very friendly and helpfull staff - Free lockers - Good location, easy and fast to enter Bangkok - Close to the city but still quiet and peacefull - Clean and nice - Nice and big garden to relax - Good breakfast - Good facilities - Received a free upgrade. Here is beautiful Guesthouse!! Also, owner is very kind ^^ Room is best clean!! Garden is perfect!!!!!!! Very nice and calm place, young and friendly owners, To me after a couple of journeys there, the most noticeable location for taking some rest... Residential neighborhood away from silliness of Khao San, but still accessible. Fab and Jaa are incredible hosts. Ping pong table, big ol' TV, guitar. Hard beds. Good showers. Was a good time there,i enjoy my stay so much . relax ,nice and clean place ..staff are very friendly ! Best for location. Lot of fun!. A great place to be, with superb hosts in a quiet local area and not far from the city centre. Definitely would stay there again. The owner is very friendly, all the other guests are very lovely people, a very good location to down town. Love it!. On my fist night in Thailand I have chosen this hostel and it was simply a great choice. Everything was perfect. Staff, location, breakfast, blue eyed cats.Trees, other guests, beautiful interior, cleanliness. All the things are outstanding. This hotel is very nice choice for English speaker. Very friendly staff and great hostel!!. - Some taxi drivers find it difficult to find the guesthouse, even with the description mentioned on there folder. - Bathroom not everywere on same floor. Nothing. Nothing much! They could do with keeping some beer on site!.
