The location, while not excellent, is very good - the bus/tram station is right in front of the hotel, with a tram ride to the center taking 7 minutes. I had no trouble getting there even late in the evening.   We used the Ibis Messe as our overnight spot before flying out of Zurcih the next morning. It was a perfect spot. The shuttle was easy to spot at the airport, the driver courteous. Can't say enough good things about the friendly, sociable staff. Hotel clean.  Breakfast buffet superb.  Location may appear to be remote and in an industrial area, but during our stay we did not notice that, using the exceptional public transport links to travel into central Zurich was very easy. The frequent bus 781 from stop Riedbach outside the hotel takes about 6 minutes to Oerlikon Bahbhof. Which is then just 6 minutes to Zurich HB by the many, even more frequent trains.   The staff were fantastic in their welcome and assistance with any questions we had. The room was lovely and clean. It was very easy to get to the centre of Zurich and back. It has a shopping centre right next door. The food at the restaurant downstairs is superb! There is also a delicious kebab store across the road!
