  A charming period building in a very good area, within 15 min walking distance to central Zurich; very nicely appointed rooms -- although the single room is a bit small, bathroom spotlessly clean. Friendly, courteous and ultra professional multi-lingual reception staff; good buffet breakfast. I thorougly recommend this hotel.   The staff was extremely courteous and friendly. They were very responsive to our needs and much to our delight we were upgraded from the Guesthouse to the Hotel which had better facilities. Moreover, we were given the rooms much earlier than the check in time. The hotel is very conveniently located in Central Zurich surrounded by the old charm of the city. We wouldn't have asked - - The location was fantastic - you can easily walk there from the main train station. Then the tourist sights are within walking distance also. - The room was an adequate size - there was enough room for luggage and to walk around. - The room was clean. - There was a lift so you didn't have to carry your luggage up stairs. - The staff were professional.

  Excellently located sparkling clean city hotel with great rooftop views - very near to the station for those arriving by rail with heavy luggage. 24 hour desk and free tea at the front counter which given the expense of Zurich is a boon on arrival! Free internet wireless in whole building and use of desktop in lobby area. Really nice large breakfast - serve yourself and af - The hotel is a short walk from the station, the staff are very kind and friendly and there is a nice atmosphere. Although Hotel Marta is functional, plain and simple, everything is of high quality (beds, pristine bathrooms etc.). In the lobby there is a hotel computer and free tea available around the clock. The breakfast buffet does not have a wide choice but again the food is of high quality, plentiful and perfectly substantial and everything spotlessly clean. Highly recommended.

  The room was exactly what we were looking for. Modern and comfortable beds for 3 friends in need of a single room with 3 beds for one night. It was very close to the main train station which is exactly what we were looking for because we had an early train to catch the next morning. - The apartment was perfect for us.   The welcome was perfect, we arrived by car and parked as close to the hotel as possible - after checking in at reception I was escorted to the underground parking garage and took my car down in a lift to the secure parking area. We stayed in a good sized executive room which had free WiFi and had been recently refurbished, and there was a massive ... mitä ihmiset sanovat » king sized bed that was very comfortable and a fridge and a nice flat screen tv with lots of channels. We asked for extra pillows and got them immedia - The rooms in the Alexander had been done to a very good standard for a small hotel. The breakfast room was small but very clean, the food was lovely with lots of selection and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent for a the major sites of the city and was right in the heart of a lively area with numerous bars and restaurants to choose from. It was also only a ten minute walk from the station and transportation links. Overall i would definitely recommend this hote
