The location is just brilliant: a nice pedestrian square just a short walk away from the train station and within walking distance from all the main activities in the city.
The room was not too big but comfortable, with complimentary coffee and tea.
The toilet is actually nice and modern.
The hotel for check in and check out is just a few metres away.

Right in the heart of the Luzern's Old town, great atmosphere and so convenient for sightseeing and shopping. Approx 10 minutes walk from the railway station. The Bistro on the ground floor although separate from the hotel but in the same group had a good menu and reasonable prices.
The location and, after all, the room itself, a mansard just close the pedestrian and historical center of Lucern.
Location of hotel was great for staying in Lucerne. It was a value pick
compared to other hotels in that area.

I have to warn who, travelling with small baby as we did, may find uneasy to climb up deep stairs. There are some, two ramps, in our case. The hotel as an elevator, that lift from the 2nd to the 5th floor. Our room at the 6th floor; but personally, I found it worthy to carry my stuff upstairs, because the room was cozy and the sight excellent.
The rooms are very small but for the cost this is not unexpected.
The price level in Switzerland is extremly high. Luzern is definitely not an exception. The hotel is very hard to find. My GPS wanted me to drive over a bridge which was only intended for pedestrians.....To come to the hotel you have to drive through the pedestrian area and go in the wrong direction of a one way street....
Difficult to access with own vehicle - poor directions. Towels in room small - should provide bath sheets.
The room was very small, it seems suitable only for travellers who have no intention of spending time in the room apart from sleeping...

wouldn't recommend for light sleepers - a lot of noise from people above and people walking up the steel staircase.

Arrived after 9pm - almost did not find LeStelle or the Best Western Krone where we had to leave car and drag baggage a block away and up 2 flights of stairs. Very small room with view of alley & wall of next building. Elevator was from floors 2 to 5. Our adjoining rooms were on 2 (up 2 flights of stairs) and 6, also up another set of stairs.
Our room was on the 5th floor in the attic section. If you're over 5' 5" ask for a room on the 4th or lower floor when booking. There was a slow elevator available.
