  We had no problems parking-and ended up seeing the hotel as soon as we emerged from the garage-perfect! It's right next to the police station, so very quiet and safe (not that other parts of the city aren't). It was a very short walk to the cathedral and the city was fantastic to wander through. The heat was on, there was a hair dryer for me to use, they even had an electric kettle and tea sitting in our room - It was excellent in all ways * it was clean, nicely designed , bright, warm, open and friendly , just around the corner from the cathedral, but with ready access to taxis too. the staff , Diego and the young woman (whose name I didn't get) were exceptionally friendly and helpful ~~ in short a delightful place !! I d stay there again ~~)

Friendly staff--speak Spanish and French, some English.

  Checking in was admirably attentive. They welcome you with breakfast and the warmest smile I've ever seen from a host. So incredibly polite and obliging. Getting the keys of my room was like getting the keys of the city. Wonderful experience. Location perfect. Bus and trains are very close for those with early return travel or connections.
