Really liked Hostal Mexicana. A well-run and well-kept hostal. Really comfy beds. Clean throughout. Decor a little dated but quaint. Excellent location of hostal too. Santander is a great place for short break: mountains, sea, city and good food.
Just next to the main square! Very friendly and helpful staff.
