We stayed for only one night, wanted to experience an authentic place instead of the english minded south of Tenerife. Indeed nothing to complain about. Simple but what do you expect for this money? The bed and shower were better than a lot of accomodations we've stayed in. Friendly staff, great location in a nice city. Everybody in Santa Cruz seems to be friendly and relaxed.
The staff was great, quite helpfull and the reception was open 24/7.
The room (twin bed) didn't have a TV nor air conditioning, but it was really clean and in good condition.
So clean! In fact beds were made and bathroom was cleaned every day.

Every floor has a WiFi so you can access it from every room.
The location is pretty good as well. In general a good place to stay for a good price.
Near to the center.
For that money, nothing to complain about. Everything was great.
Maybe, if you have rented a car, it would be difficult to park, but we parked the 4 days very close to the pension without wasting any time (luck?).
I didn't like the fact that they didn't provide any soap or shower gel.
It can be noisy in the early morning.
