Very high quality building. Kitchen and bathroom facilities were great. Cheap use for laundry / washing machine, close drive to some awesome parks, lakes and mountain townships. Helpful staff and provided useful day trip advise. We liked it so much we stayed an extra two nights. Back rooms have excellent mountain views to enjoy with private terraces. The apartments were very modern and private, overlooking the valley on the outskirts of San Sebastián. We specifically chose the location because we had a car we didn't want to use in the city and parking was free. The apartments were close to a bus stop with regular buses taking about 15 minutes to reach the centre of the city. The reception staff were very helpful in assisting us with a damage report we needed to fax to the leasing company.

The pension was spotlessly clean. My room was stylish and modern which isn't always that case in Spain! The bed was really comfortable and there wasn't much noise from other rooms which was great. The 'pension' is a delight. It is a small, family run enterprise in a back street, about four hundred yards from the main beach and eight hundred yards from the old town. It is spotlessly clean, recently refurbished and well run. The boss greets you on your arrival, sees to your very need and helps you with directions to a private, secure car park facility one hundred yards away. I would go back tomorrow - or whenever I next go to San Sebastián.

Really beautiful and comfortable palace with the surrounding countryside providing the perfect setting. Only 30mins drive to San Sebastián. 45 mins to Bilboa. Everything was just great. Not hard to find as we put the town location into the Gps and there were signs from the town intersection to the hotel. Hotel also provided us with plenty of info

Restaurant is outstanding. The chef - a charming guy - likes to meet his guests and talk about his dishes and the way he prepares them. The "black" fillet steak is brilliant!!

I had an early flight form Bilbao and this place is percfect. You can get to the airport in 10 min by car.
Staff were super friendly. They called me on my phone on respone to some email queries I made. They offered us to go pick us up if we weren't able to find the place. And once there they told us where we could go visit and for lunch.

The Owners were so kind to find us in the middle of nowhere because our GPS was unable to bring us to this really marvellous place. Colegio Mayor Olarain was a real breath of fresh air after a couple of
depressing budget hotel rooms--a big, airy dorm room with big windows
and lots of space. Breakfast was good too. But best of all was the
staff. While in San Sebastian I fell, cut myself badly, and needed
stitches. Next day I was concerned about the wound and staff drove me to
a clinic to get checked out. Wonderful people here.

The staff were really very helpful. They sorted out my diet, helped us to book train tickets on line, helped to sort out the aftermath of a minor accident, were always very friendly...in short wonderful. The hotel was clean and modern, the room was good and comfortable, the breakfast was good- all in all very good value and highly recoemended.

All accommodations are simple, and I think this makes me feel like home. My room had two beds, one tv, one desk with a mirror and one bathroom. Wifi works fine and the staff were really gentle to ask if I was ok with the noise (I think they're repairing some things on my floor), or if I'd like to change my room.
