Wonderful to stay in an historic building but with really high quality features. The breakfasts were incredible, definitely worth having and at €5 were an absolute bargain. Loved the quiet, rural location but with easy access to other gorgeous towns - 35 minute train to San Sebastián from Zumaia was a real bonus. Incredibly helpful staff, making excellent suggestions for restaurants, attractions/towns to visit and driving routes added considerably to our enjoyment

We arrived on Friday late night (around 1:30 am) , the owner was waited for us and make us feel like pleasure and convenience. The suite room we got was beautiful with great view and huge space.

The room was really spacious with a lovely view of the town and countryside. The lady on recpetion was wonderful. The whole place smelled great and there was a lovely communal sitting room. It was a great place for us to spend our first anniversary. Although we only stayed one night, it's in a great location for Bilboa airport and you could easily do a day trip to San Sebastian or into other countryside areas. We just found it really relaxing and a nice welcoming place to stay.

Very high quality building. Kitchen and bathroom facilities were great. Cheap use for laundry / washing machine, close drive to some awesome parks, lakes and mountain townships. Helpful staff and provided useful day trip advise. We liked it so much we stayed an extra two nights. Back rooms have excellent mountain views to enjoy with private terraces.
