  This place was a highlight. On the main square of Laguardia and deceptively large. Our superior room on the 2nd floor was big, clean with a huge comfortable bed, super shower and changing room. On arrival we were given vouchers for a complimentary glass of wine and pintxo in their cellar bar. A nice touch. The rooms and breakfast are pricey - This is our kind of hotel - small but beautifully appointed, very comfortable rooms, excellent food, interesting village and very friendly, helpful staff. The included breakfast was superb and the coffee excellent. We handed our evening wine selection to the most knowledgeable expert, Jean-Marie, who never let us down. All the staff were wonderful and even those who said they 'did not speak English' did so very well. The extended research we did to locate our hotel in La Rioja really paid off w

  Though bit pricy its really an amazing spot and hotel. Awesome building, great spacious rooms, good staff. Gourmet restaurant was closed during our stay but the bistro was excellent too. Beautiful terrace to watch the sunset, have to visit the winery too and go for a walk/ cycle around the vineyards. My husband is a retired architect and staying here was a remembering of himself, enlivening. We only wish we had known how wonderful the experience would be and we would have stayed longer.

I loved the design and art work and the thematic ties with the amazing Guggenhein Museum and Fine Arts Museum, both of which are within such easy walking distance.   The rooms are absolutely clean, the Hotel is modern and nicely detailed. The staff was very nice. The hotel is recomandable for a longer stay. It was a pleasure to be there! - The rooms (and beds!) are enormous and the design was quite innovative and unusual. We loved it.
