  Only 10 min. Taxi drive from airport. The hotel was renovated 2013. Close to beach, restaurants and shops. We stayed one week (half board) at end of October 2013, and at this time of the year season ends. Therefore, we see that there is less queuing everywhere and more quiet beach life than during summer season. The hotel has a majority of German speaking guests, but all English communication with reception and restauran - Location is excellent - the beach is a street across and it is 10 mins away from the airport. The hotel organized different events over different nights - flamenco, acrobatics and fire show, singers on Friday night and a Dj on Saturday night.. The room was clean and comfortable.   Really nice staff, always happy and willing to help. Location can't be better if beach is where you want to go, only 100m or so (and S'Arenal beach was in suberb condition, really suitable for kids also). Also harbour for fishing trips was only 500m away.   Nothing - see below... - The pool was really nice. It had plenty of shade for those hot days. We had a room with a balcony over the pool which was lovely. The hotel bar was good and quite cheap.

Reception and the public areas retain the traditional, luxurious appearance that first impressed my wife and myself when we made our first (of four) visits to the hotel. The bus from the airport stops outside the hotel. The hotel is of modern design, comfortable and clean. Excellent and friendly staff. The garage next to the hotel at Plaza d'Espana is useful for unloading your car etc. - but it's not as cheap as the official one just mentioned...
