The location was great and easy to find at 3 in the morning. However the best thing about the hotel was its extremely welcoming, hospitable and helpful english speaking staff. Wish there was a higher rate than excellent as the reception staff was so good. - It was almost brand new hotel, plus very conveniently located for the train station

The only problem we encountered was marked difficulty getting to the hotel by car. We drove around for almost two hours until a couple got in the car and using the GPS on their phone, found a route. Otherwise, the hotel could not have been better. It is in a great location, the room was very comfortable and the staff were great. -

Rooms were excellent. - I found the hotel quite convenient for visiting the city being only aboout ten minutes walk from the old town and not much further away from the Aljaferia Palace. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Unique style. Cannot recommend this hotel enough. There are only four rooms and a small restaurant/bar, but the owners made such an effort to make us comfortable. The food was first rate and service attentive. Each of the rooms are individually decorated and immaculately presented, for the money you wont beat this small enterprise.

Our hearfelt thanks go to each and every one of the staff. The rooms are comfortable and attractive and the breakfast is wonderful and served with a beautiful smile. We would love to come back.

Nice little gem that would deserve a more attractive surrounding. We just had a stopover on our way from Priorat to Rioja, and, well, Alcañiz is not that interesting. Sort of a grim blue-collar town with nothing much to offer. But then again, this ain't no review of Alcañiz - Villa Monter is quite flawless.
