  I needed an economical place to stay for a 15 hour layover in Barcelona. I also wanted to be fairly close to everthing so I could take one last look before leaving Spain. The Pension Francia room was perfect: spacious and clean with good amenities at an excellent price. I even had a nice balcony with a vew of the Cafe Xixi and the pretty passagew... mitä ihmiset sanovat » ay. The location is great as it is walking distance to Port Vell, Barceloneta Beach, Barcelona Cathedral. Barcelona Zoo, El Born, Bari Gotic, Musee P - I love this hotel, it's simpel and clean ! I think it's the 5th time that I stayed here, and I'm always very happy here. Not all of the personel speaks english - I think that's just also the charm, you're in Catalunya... not in England- but they are always very helpfull and friendly. Location is great, and the price quality is very good I think. Will definitly return ! Good internet connection.

  Apartment was very clean, nice and homely. Bed was comfortable, so we slept well there... you can hear normal sounds of living from the neighborhood, so it was not so quiet or noisy. Kitchen was complete, only we missed was coffee machine, there was yes espresso cooker. Bathroom and shower was very nice, but there was only one small shelf for thin... mitä ihmiset sanovat » gs (it is over the toilet!) and there would be another rack for hanging clothes or towels. The nearist beach was just ok and we not need the balcony t - I liked the location of the apartments in Barceloneta which is a vibrant area. Lots of bars and restaurants just a short walk away. The beach front is only a few steps from this apartment. We have stayed in Barceloneta before and will most definitely be returning to this property.

  The facilities of the place are very comfortable, cooking in the apartment was the best idea to save some money... The neighbourhood was great, close to the most alive part of the city and also not so far away from the beach... It is well connected with the metro statitons... :D - Location is amazing, 2 min walk to Rambla.   Excellent Location. A few minutes walk from Placa Catalunya and Eixample. 59 Bus stops nearby which takes you to the Passeig Maritim and all down the Ramblas. The Mon Bus to the Airport / Sitges is around the corner, as are the A2 and A1 Airport buses. Plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby, a small supermarket, bakery, bars. Very quiet, even though it was near - Perfect location, nice price, very good wifi signal and there are all necessary things for comfortstay.
