Value for money. It is a student house which works as the hotel over the summer, so as expected the room was basic, but it had everything I need like private kitchen and bathroom. So yes it is basic but cheap, clean and in good conditions and only 15 minutes walking to the beach. -

The room info given by the recidencia campus del mar is accurate. You get what they promise. Location was with in walking distance from the city center. Also a bus connection (bus 17) is near by. Staff is helpfull. The room was cleaned daily, even on weekend.

Everything. Very convenient location - less than 5 minutes from the beach. About 5 minutes walk to the L4 metro station. Tons of restaurants and small shops in the streets. This hostel is amazing! Very funky! We were upgraded to a hotel room, free of charge, and still had access to use the hostel facilities. The hotel rooms are lovely and new and very clean. Rooms are made up every day and new towels are also given daily (in the hotel). The staff are very helpful and friendly. It is extreamly close to the Sagrada Familiar and a 5 minute walk from the Metro. I would stay here again and recommend it to everyone!

Friendly helpful staff willing to help in anyway possible, good planned night activities including pub crawls and a tasty paella night. Superb location seconds from the metro and the airport train. Very good value and the breakfast included was much appreciated. -

We enjoyed our stay here! Very homely and the staff we very accommodating especially with all our tourist questions. Very close to Las Ramblas and all the fun. Would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to do Barcelona on the cheap. -

This was my first time in a hostel & it was a good experience. Location was the best. Placa Catalunya is a good starting point to see the whole of Barcelona, links to the whole city from there. Next to La Rambla, supermarkets & several high st shops. Rooms were spacious, loved the plug socket, nightlight & privacy curtain. To save money I bought food from local supermarket & used the hostels kitchen facilities. Very useful under bed lockers, my belongings were always safe there.

the staff guys are generally nice-ish. The place is cool and looks great. I stayed in the apartment for 1 night where i got a room to myself and I really liked it. Clean, quiet and stuff. The mixed dorm looked fun too. Monday pub crawl and people were partying in the kitchen and stuff - it seemed very fun and I would have loved to join in had it not been for my long accumulated fatigue. Great place !
