The complimentary wifi and mini bar, which was replenished daily, are a very nice touch and something that hardly any boutique hotel of this size offers.
Our room was lovely, spacious, clean and luxurious and with a great view of the ocean.
Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful and that just made it an even nicer place to stay.
Will definitely be returning.

The rooms are stunning and really tastefully decked out and it's well situated for central Cape Town and the VandA shopping centre. It's the nicest place we've ever stayed and we will definitely go back if we can!

The staff were friendly, polite and very helpful, always smiling, and solicitous without being in your face. Breakfast was plentiful, lots of choices and value for money; use of the business centre at no extra cost was a godsend - see wi-fi
The entrance/lobby very spacious and felt homely. I would definitely stay at the Portswood again

This was an excellent hotel. It was situated just outside the Waterfront and although you could walk there, they had a courtesy bus that ran every half hour. I have stay at this hotel each year for a week for business. I noticed this time that the same staff are still working there. I think this says a lot about staff turnover. The staff are very positive always happy to hep, nothing is ever to hard. I had an issue with a pick up being late and it was dealt with quickly and the transport manager was waiting for me to apologise for the error. This hotel is a beautiful place and when you are here you are treated as family, a pleasure staying

The apartments are extremely nice. We were a group of 6 friends that rented the penthouse and our expectation were topped, a superb view and a very nice, clean place. We were also surprised to see that the apartment had anything you would wish for in the kitchen. The washing machine came in handy as well. The hotel is just minutes to walk from the restaurants and bars on Long Street. At the ground floor of the hotel we found a supermarket / sushi restaurant that came in quite handy. All in all,
