The hotel is comfortable and not perfectly decorated or sterile. It has an old world charm and no pretense. It is a great location and pretty quiet (compared to the downtown area which is close by) It is nice to stay in a place that is not generic. the staff is very friendly and eager to please. By the second day, I did not have to ask for my masala tea at breakfast-it just came.

Bhanu, the hotel manager, was very helpful and the hotel staff was friendly as well. He offered us great value for money offers for a KTM city tour, Mt. Everest flight as well as hotel and city tour to Pokhara. He even exchanged our money of varying currencies at good rates.
The location of the hotel is very ideal - right at the center and close to the airport.
