Beautiful inn and large rooms. Small and beautiful garden outside my room's window. Some of the facilities are slightly worn, but not unusably so, and I think it adds to the atmosphere of a historic inn. Great location in the middle of Fukuoka, with easy access to most points of interest.

We had an amazing time in this beautifully laid out traditional Kyushu home. The entire second floor was made available to us, and we certainly did not require the use of shower facilities since onsens of a a phenomenal calibre are a few minutes away. The quality of the welcome was second to none, and that included an extremely convenient pick up and drop off from/to the train station and thorough overview of Beppu and its attractions from friendly owner/operator Bibo. Highly recommended.

It's a very welcoming guest house, 10 minutes walk from train station or you can call for pick up. There's a great rice field just 200 meter behind the guest house, very good view for sunrise and sunset. Staff are very friendly and 200% helpful!!
