  The villa itself, the grounds, and the surrounding countryside were spectacular -- so peaceful and calming. The room was beautiful, with large verandas and a large bathroom with a separate stand-alone shower and bathtub, something I have never seen elsewhere in Italy. We got a feeling like we stayed not in the simple hotel but a castle with its own history, with its particular furniture!
