The apartments were 200m down from a large supermarket, so cooking in the apartment was made easy. The apartment is not close to the centre of Florence but is easily accessible by bus number 22 from the train station and centre of Florence (about 15-20 mins on the bus). If taking the bus there ring ahead and ask the staff exactly where to get off!

Great accommodation in the Tuscan hills. Views out of across manicured gardens and pool to vinyards and olive groves in rolling hills. Can easily see the impressive hillside town of San Gimignano. We hired a vespa with Mauros help and had a fantastic time riding around the tuscan countryside and small medieval towns. -

This is an atmospheric & historical building that has been tastefully adapted for discerning travelers/clients. It is just around the corner from the main piazza of Massa Marittima & although no meal was included in the package the kitchenette was stocked with milk, cereals, tea, coffee etc. that was more than adequate. This is a small establishment with about 8 rooms & is a perfect base for exploring this area up to & including Siena.

Wow what an amazing place. It is very remote in the Tuscan mountains but just what we needed after a few days in busy Rome. The nearest shop is a 20 min drive away. But we loved it as it was so peaceful and relaxing. The owners are so friendly and make you feel at home. The apartment was well equipped and comfortable only downside was no oven but we managed. My kids 2 and 7 loved the pool, the playground and the wooded areas with a tree house. Poppi castle is well worth a visit we traveled to F
