  Great hotel. Room we stayed in was huge, spotless and very clean. The bathroom was huge and spotless. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, with an excellent variety of fuits and other staples. Good firm superking sized bed in a standard room. A lot of the original stone had been built into the deisgn and was well done.Very quite. We had a back room 415 and with the shutters closed it was silent. In summer if you wanted to open the shutters there is an aircon machine nearby which is noisy.

About a 20 minute easy walk from the centre, but regular buses available if needed, and airport bus stop very close.   The staff were excellent: extremely helpful and courteous. I don't speak Italian and had been very concerned about being able to be understood. But they took the time to ensure that I felt heard. The view from the terrace resturant is wonderful. - Central location, garage.
