The staff were fantastic guys who were always making sure we were happy! The food they prepare there is amazing & local. Dinner is a great value & includes drinks as well. We were served the best wine we've had in Italy! We like it so much we Wanted to buy a boytle & they gave us one as a gift. Our room was very clean & comfortable - no a/c but had a big ceiling fan! What a fantastic place to stay! From the moment Mimo picked us up at the
train station to the moment we left, we had an amazing experience. We
were treated like family, including an outstanding dinner cooked just
for us--with the freshest, most delicious ingredients. It's just
steps from the ruins, the perfect location. We were extremely sad to
leave. It was our favorite place in Italy.
The owner was very attentive to our needs and shuttling us around. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Paestum was a historic surprise that was beautiful and not touristy. The village bar/cafe was a local hub with good food and treats. a must see.
The location was wonderful--a few meters from the archeological park. The dinners we had at Casa Rubini were also great--just like home-cooked meals--we had several dishes we had not had before in Italy. The rooms are very nice.
