Everything about the place, hostesses and food. From the moment we arrived JACKIE MADE US VERY AT HOME with her homemade tart and cream- delicious. The selection of choice for breakfast was amazing. The bedroom was vary comfortable. The whole experience had the 'x factor'. Thanks Jackie and Mervyn for your hospitality and for making us feel so at home.
Perfection !! Warmly welcomed with a pot of tea and cake. The room was delightful with lots of little extra touches....sweets, toiletries and plenty of tea/coffee making ingredients. Breakfast was superbly presented and plentiful. A real home from home atmosphere. This is a "little gem" and highly recommended to all.

Ashdene is epitomises the warm, friendly, homely B&B. The accomodation provided all we needed. We were welcomed with apple pie and a cuppa on arrival. Breakfast was superb. And just down the road the village of Avoca is otherwise known as Ballykissangel, the site of the BBC TV series...
Everything was perfect! Warm welcome with a cup a tea and a delicious slice of apple pie! The room was very big and with great attention to evey detail! Breakfast excellent! It was the best stay in Irland! Thanks Jackie and Mervyn.
