  We absolutely loved staying here. The staff were all incredibly friendly - it had the most informal atmosphere of all the places we stayed during our honeymoon to Bali and the Gili Islands and it was all the better for it. The managers Georgie and Baz are incredibly nice and warm people and really made us welcome straight away. Pondok Santi is quite an unusual - Pondok Santi is just amazing. This review won't do it justice! The location is fantastic as it is out of the main strip but walking distance to most attractions. It is also a 5 min walk from Pearl Beach Lounge which is a great place for a meal or drinks by the beach. The bungalows are beautiful and comfortable, and the outdoor bathroom is a real treat.   The villas are brilliant! Very clean, large and comfy! The sea water shower is amazing and there is plenty of fresh water in a scoop afterwards!   After only two days in Bali we decided to take the boat over to Gili Trawagan. We were very happy when our horse (!!) stopped outside Gili Eco Villas. The villas are situated on a beautiful location just ten minutes by horse from Gili "center".
