The villa was located 2 minutes walking distance from the beach, still it was not in the middle of all the other tourist hotels. The villa is a stand alone place, perfect if you want to be able to get away from all the other burger-and-fries-tourists and party youngsters on the island. The staff was very helpful and friendly, they even make you breakfast whenever you want it. The design and decour is very nice, and it feels luxorious and authentic at the same time. The villa itself was absolutely beautiful, tastefully decorated, comfortable beds, working fans and ac, beautiful bathrooms with soft towels and nice shampoo and soap. The kitchen had frequently restocked complementary water, soda and beer for less than the prices in the markets, and a really excellent breakfast with some of the best bread I've had in a long time. The staff was kind and respectful and helpful and welcoming, and the owner ha excellent recommenda. The staff was amazing and took care of logistics seamlessly from Jakarta to the villa. The owners are also quite lovely and accommodating. Breakfast was fresh, delicious and on request.. The villa is cool, relaxed and located a short walk away from the crowded shops and dive centers yet only a couple minutes walk from the nice beaches. I would definitely stay at this villa again. close to the beach and the harbor, but still keeps a bit quiet; staff are very friendly and helpful; a food stall with mini market next to the villa, provides quite authentic local food and basic grocery; the traditional java style villa carries a very relaxing air; breakfast prepared at the time as requested, with surprisingly good bread and fresh banana milk shake;. A great communial space to relax in and this is a great venue for either a family with kids, or two couples. If the internet was a little bit stronger it would perfect..But really, who comes to Gili to download movies? They have a bunch on dvd's, books and board games in the villa for in-house entertainment. the living room could get pretty hot in the afternoon, even with both fans on;. nothing. To make it a 10, would be great for the place to be a beach side and&or have a pool. Probably needs some minor updating, as beginning to look a bit tired. Couldn't connect to Internet for some reason. Nothing I can think about. Nothing at all!. Some of the staff don't speak English so it was hard to get anything done till the ones who spoke English came along The Internet was very slow most times, compared to other cafe wifi in gili. The bungalow was in a dark side of the island, very unsuitable position. The lack of comforts like the unavailability of an hairdryer. It was not possible to choose what to eat in the morning, the breakfast was served in the bungalow and it was not possible to change it. It cannot be considered a luxury accomodation, not at all. The price was much higher that the other accomodation in Gili Island.
