  I really enjoyed my stay at the Alfholl Gueshouse. The owner Kristjan is very nice and follows up with you to find out what time your flight arrives/leaves to makes sure everything is in order.   The hotel is a small lovely house near the downtown of Reykjavik. There are some types of rooms, incl. Dormitory for 5 people, where I spent a night. For extremely reasonable price you get comfortable sleeping place with bathroom in the room and access to the kitchen, where it's possible to cook your own meal.
