  I liked everything about this hotel. The room sizes are great and completely accessable. The breakfast in the morning was really nice, meats, cereals, fruit, juice, coffee, tea.. Everything fresh. Its a couple of km into Keflevik were there is all the usual facilities. The airport has a small convenience store that is open untill 11 at ni - A couple of minutes walk from the airport terminal. The rooms were clean and fresh. The hotel was quiet which is a bonus when you need an early night, to catch an early flight. The breakfast buffet was good and there was plenty of food to chose from (cereals, toast, meats and cheese). Breakfast was out from 4.30am to accommodate guests who were catching an early flight.

  I recieved a very warm welcome from Astrid on reception. I was lucky enough to arrive on a night when the northern lights were out, and we went outside to watch them together. I had a really special night there, and really loved the room I got. Very helpful with everything I asked about, and it really made the end of my stay memorable. Sylvia was great. When she wasn't cleaning, she was doing research on Iceland in order to give suggestions to travellers. I had a room to myself and it was the cleanest room I've ever stayed in. Everything sparkled. Close to the airport and to bus stops. It's just a terrific place to stay. (...and I did not miss the bus to Reykjavik)

  the hotel is extremely clean . johana is very friendly and helped us alot in our trip planing. the outdoor hot tub is fun. highly recomended hotel for people arriving at the keflavick airport . - The hotel is comfortable, the staff was very helpful.   We were very friendly and heartily welcome by the host at 1:30 am - even we estimated our arrival at 0:45 am. It looks like a newly built house with relatively large new modern rooms. We had a "Twin Room with Shared Bathroom" (for 48 EUR/night) and the pictures on the website do absolutely match with the location on-site. The breakfast was served as buffet while it was still possible to get cookies, water, tea and coffee during the - The hosts are very accommodating to guests arriving late and leaving early as this guesthouse is near the airport. The owner is a retired carpenter who designed and built the interior of this very modern guesthouse. The breakfast and homemade treats available in the evening were top notch. Hard to believe we only spent $77 for the largest room and bed we had in Iceland, but I suspect we got such a good deal because we stayed during their first month of operation.
