  Good place in the heart of old city, close to almost everything. Nice rooms, clean & quiet place. Perfect choice for those, who want to stay at Rethymno for a night or two - This was beautiful and the best place we have stayed yet. Location was fantastic and the staff great. The room was devine, large, well appointed and just beautiful.

  We had an excellent time at Yacinthos. We were treated like a family from the very start, and got a big hug at goodbye. The staff was very helpful, providing everything we asked for. The owner is a lovely lady, who prepares excellent breakfast, and making sure you're happy at all times. We had a deluxe studio. Location was amazing too - convenient for bus station and right in the quieter and beautiful streets of the Old Town. The location was perfect for us to explore the town without having to walk miles and bearing in mind we were there for the Easter celebrations we were in a fairly quiet area.   This is a beautiful, romantic hotel in a Venetian building that had everything we wanted or needed. Very nice room with beautiful decor and a nice bathroom. We stayed in room #101, this was their cave room, part of the old monastery. Lot's of history here. The food at the restaurant does not disappoint! The owner was extremely helpful and hospitable as well. He also makes his own wine, raki (similar to grappa) and a lemon liquor. We bought some of his liquor to take home. Would definitely return here.
