Mare vista hotel, well you see the harbour, sea and all boats coming in. With 10 min walk to harbour you catch our boat easy. Buss station is about 20 min walk and buss to Knossos costs 3€ each person. 30 min walk and you are in old town. If you like beach, it is 15 min buss trip to east.

A good place near the port (10 minutes walk) and the airport (10 minutes by car) so it is comfortable to use it if you plan a flight or sailing next morning. There is some noise due to the airplanes but not too much. Nice view at the port. The room is rather simple but enough for the 1 night stay.

Staff is friendly, and working hard to improve what was previously a neglected property. Attached restaurant is good, which is important since there are not many alternatives. This is the closest hotel to the Iraklion airport (but not walking distance), for those flying in or out. Pool is clean and refreshing.
