We particularly loved the food which was delicious for breakfast and dinnerthe three nights we stayed, everything freshly prepared with homemade jams, bread etc. and vegetables and herbs from the gardens. Our room was very comfortable with the facility to make coffee and watch the mountains, so relaxing! It is perfect place to walk, eat and relax. Zaros just a two minute drive away if you need supermarket or bank.

We stayed at the Happy Cretan for three nights and the only bad thing I have to say is that we didn't have more time there. The hotel setting was absolutely gorgeous! The rooms were fresh and clean along with being eco-friendly. I rarely take the time to write reviews but Megaron was so exceptional that I felt compelled to comment. The service, room, breakfast buffet are extraordinary! It's the first all-female run 5-star hotel I've stayed in from manager, dining maitre d' to porters. Went back after 5 or even more years. Everything was as good as i expected. Especially i like the management decision to renew the hotel. It is really unspecific for Europe. A lot of activities and friendly staff. My 3 years old daughter especially liked the mini disco and mini aqua park. -

I liked the quality of the service and friendly approach of the hotel team. They also offer a lot of very good food and drinks, although Ballentines was always pretty quickly out... The location on the beach is excellent, the seaside bungalow is what you need to enjoy the time. The place is big but not too crowded. Good value for money. -
