Very attractive hotel/apartment block located midway between town and the beach, so quiet and yet convenient. Nice pool (though surprisingly cold after a long, hot summer) and outdoor breakfast/lunch area. Staff very friendly and helpful - they even upgraded us to a 2 bed apartment overlooking the pool at no extra cost - because it was available!

Socrates is a lovely hotel. Very friendly owners, Eva and George.
Absolutely perfect pool area, with comfortable sunbeds and a wonderful
garden. We got clean towels every day and the room was perfectly
cleaned. It was about 200 m to the bus stop (32) to Hersonissos and to
the beach 200-250 M. The hotel is perfectly situated in the countryside
quiet yet central. I would definitely go back. And the transfer service
I great. (A family with 16 and 9 year old kids)

The room was of high standard, everything new and stylish. Nice, deep pool and view to the mountains. The hotel is run by an extremely friendly family, the nicest people we met on Crete :) we enjoyed ourselves very much. Loved the bar, chilled with a shisha every night ;) -

We are just back from a fantastic stay at Parthenis Beach. We booked into stay for an extra 2 nights it was so wonderful. The setting is amazing right overlooking a stunning beach with beautiful clear blue waters and those sun beds are just so comfy. The hotel's area is very large so we didn't notice there many people until we went to walk all over the resort.
