  We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday at Das Tergernsee and had a wonderful time. The entire reservation was handled professionally and efficiently and we were delighted with the room, menu and decor. The hotel is beautiful, with the most fantastic view of the lake. Our only regret was not spending more time in this lovely hotel.   Modern apt with everything we needed. Beds extremely comfortable as was all the bedding. Very clean. Lots of light, bright and cheerful. Loved the heated floors in the bathroom. It is right across from grocery stores which is convenient but does block the view a bit... Next to a great bike rental and easy walk to everything. We had a great time here and I highly recommend this - This was a spacious apartment with all the conveniences including cooking for a several days stay. It was well located in Oberammergau within easy walking distance of town. The owner was very helpful.& did our laundry, too. For the $Value-- this can't be beat. Although there was no wifi there was internet access through the cable. And there's a great bar--Jansen & Jansen--a block away with wifi and a friendly, English speaking owner.
