Staff spoke English - The staff was friendly and the location was great! Our room looked out on the river and the old bridge.   Great accomocations - old style, charming and yet clean, comforable and the gentleman was so kind to us. Helpful with everything we asked about - the buses, checking into our airline info...really made us feel comfortable. The price was a good value, and we would definitely come back to the Hotel Elite!   Been a long time since we stay at a Ibis Hotel. Last time was in 2007. Glad to know that they still are a familiar place. You know what you´ll get when you book a Ibis Hotel. And glad to know that they have improved. Bed and pillows were fantastic. Good shower and room decoration was better than we remember. Good price for Heidelberg - it's a budget hotel in Heidelberg which located next by Train Station. it's far away from old town, you better take city tram or bus or drive to there. have free parking but not enough parking space in front of the hotel. it's hard to find the 2nd parking area, you better ask you travel buddy to go to check-in first and get the instruction with map for getting to 2nd parking area.

I stayed for 7 nights in November and never had a problem with noisy neighbors or traffic. It is located close to public transport stops which made it convenient for me to get anywhere I wanted to go. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choices at the best price I experienced in my Germany vacation. Casual atmosphere, clean and cozy.
