  The apartment was the perfect size for a couple with extra pull out beds for a family group. Excellent kitchen and bathroom facilities and lots of storage. Balcony was really nice to have although more use in the summer!   Location was great being close to the underground. We were given clear instructions on how to find the apartment and directions from airport. Apartment was clean, spacious and as described on the website. Friendly staff. We had a maintenance issue and the staff dealt with it promptly. These apartments are managed through the nearby Raja Jooseppi Cafe and, despite first appearances, this was in fact a lovely little cafe with very friendly staff and some of the best coffee in Berlin.   We booked two appartments and both were very well equiped, clean and large enough for young people to hang out. I recommend this accommodation a lot. The staff was friendly. Prepare 10€ for deposit for a key and be aware of the fact that you will not be able to smoke neither in the room nor in the yard. But that does not matter so much.   I do not normally blog about hotels. But Matiss was a superb host, the apartment was clean, stunning, secure (4 bolted doors to access), a gorgeous little courtyard. Matiss was always at the end of the phone to help, top guy and top tr - The apartment was clean, tidy, newly renovated, ver well designed, in short, the reality totally reflected the photos on the web-site. THe room smelled fresh, neat and tidy, the location was also very good, close to UBahn, with a supermarket in 2mins walk. The apartment had a tiny kitchen for cooking, which I never used, but if you are travelling with friends, it may come handy. The yard is closed, so it is really very safe and very quiet.
