Go for the "Chrispy Duck on a hotplate".. its a good start =).. Half an hour to go to the Worlds oldes brewery Weihenstephaner where I had the speciality "Grilled Porkneck". Probably much more to explore in better weather conditions.

  The hotel is modern, clean, and comfortable. The staff is very friendly (though one staff member was unaware that they actually offer free WiFi in the rooms.) Erding itself is lovely and a nice break from the crowds in Munich. I particularly liked the proximity to the Erding Thermen, which are about my most favorite place in the world. This is a great place for a short layo - Spent a weekend in December as part of visit to Erding Therme. Very friendly staff couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable. Free shuttle bus to Therme made the journey very easy. The location was close to the town centre yet very quiet.

  We arrived after a day at octoberfest, had a good comfy sleep, nice breakfast, and then we needed a taxi to get to our motorhome home. When we couldn't get a taxi, they popped us in their car and drove us there. Excellent staff.
