  The hotel is rather 60s style as is much of Royan. (Tourist info includes architecture walks etc). Don't expect a standard modernised hotel. Situated in a quiet residential area, 2 minutes walk from the attractive corniche coast line overlooking the Gironde estuary and also 5 minutes walk to the stylish Pontaillac beach (choice of restaurants, bar... mitä ihmiset sanovat » s, surf and local shops). Near to Gironde ferry across to Pte de Grave. Close to Velodysee cycle route. - The owners were very welcoming, the hotel was clean and trying to be eco friendly.
