  We loved the serenity of the property and the hosts were fabulous. They made us feel comfortable and were gracious and friendly. You can tell by all the nice little touches that they genuinely care about their guests. - The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is delicious.   We stayed at the Ace Hotel in Brive last year, on our way home from our holiday in the Tarn region of France. It was our first experience of the chain and were very impressed by their standards.   Helpful and cheerful staff. Neither bedside light worked, so I pointed this out to the lady on reception. She immediately sent up a repair man who fixed it by plugging in the lamps to the wall socket - whoops. The pool's OK but a little claustraphobic; surroundings and decor are very pleasant and the room was easy to get and keep warm. Good breakfast in large sunny room with attentive service. Friendly helpful staff speak some English.
