  We liked the amount of space in the bedroom and the ensuite bathroom and the view from the bedroom was lovely. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice of fresh food and we were left to eat it in peace, unlike some other places where the owners want to talk with you while you are eating. Really friendly hosts, huge room and bathroom (though private toilet just across the landing; possibly due to installation difficulties with an old building?). We had an excellent evening meal - order in advance - with scintillating conversation with our hosts well into the evening. Super breakfast. Definitely recommended and will stay again if we get the opportunity.

  Friendly welcome on arrival and from then on, nothing was too much trouble. I was given advice on where to visit in the area and restaurants to try, however as only there for one night, decided to stay in and sample Donna's cooking which was superb and such good value. The views are amazing and it really is so peaceful here. There is a pool area, with lov - Delightful stay here. Donna and Chris run an up-market operation where you feel like their guest for the night after a dinner party. We booked dinner in advance and whilst Donna prepared a delicious meal Chris entertained us with nibbles and wine before a good dinner. Then an excellent night's sleep in a spacious, clean and comfortable country house bedroom suite. Really couldn't ask for anythig more. They have a winning formula here and we appreciated their care and attention. Highly recommend

  Absolutely wonderful place to stay. The host is super informative and happy to help you plan your trip in and around the area and speaks fluent English which is handy. Great kitchen facilities if your on a budget and like to cook yourself. Would stay again if/when back in the area. - Wonderful hosts.
