  It was perfect for our needs. Relaxed and friendly. Lovely location; even our non-lake-view (and therefore cheaper) room had a fine view.   Lovely hotel, friendly helpful staff, Highly reccomended - I have stayed at this hotel several times during the past 18 months. Value for money is excellent. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff helpful and courteous.

  My two young children had enough space in our clean room at Hotel de la Place, Annemasse. The staff were very helpful and the hotel is close to various eateries + superb play area (C-Aventure in Ville Le Grand) is only a bus away from the hotel!   Location is right in the middle of the city but you can't drive to it. Parking was a nightmare to find on a Friday afternoon and was located a short distance up a hill from the hotel. We didn't mind too much as we filled a backpack for our overnight stay and left the larger suitcases in the car. The hotel itself was great. Good facilities.   Huge comfy beds/pillows. Stylish room and nice bathroom. Breakfast was great lots of choice - continental style. Free wifi was good. The restaurant next door was very nice for dinner. The spa is amazing and well worth the additional €10. Lots of jacuzzi pools, sauna, steam room, turkish bath - all really amazing. The attached waterpark, for which free tickets are included for hotel guests, was fantastic. We only stayed the one night as it was a stopover, but would happily return for 2 or 3.
