Beautiful location in a quite countryside village. Very peaceful & tranquil setting yet close enough to easily reach popular tourist places in the area. Rooms were very tastefully furnished & extremely comfortable. Our hosts were superb, very friendly & helpful. Lovely breakfasts with homemade cakes & jams served every morning. Couldn't fault our stay. Hope to return. Thank you Christine & Jean-Marc for your kind hospitality.

An amazing 4 days in beautiful Cadouin. Eric and Luc are fantastic hosts and it felt like being welcomed into their home rather than staying in a hotel. George and Eduard were incredible hosts. From we the moment we drove up, we were made to feel very special. They helped us with our luggage, showed us to a beautiful room, ( with a fan!! A rarity and wonderful addition) , gave us a tour of the charming chateau and invited us to use the pool.

The staff and general atmosphere was amazing. The owners, Ed and Ineka were incredible hosts as were their friends, Vim and Ingrid. You felt as though you were staying as guests in their home. Nothing was too much trouble, even offering to pick us up from the airport and babysitting our children. They also kindly waived the fee when we had to cut short our stay at the last minute. Le Porche de Sarlat is located in the old city of Sarlat and private car parking is located just outside the wall. Alex the owner was waiting for us when we arrived and explained all the appliances within the apartment which was new with all modern appliances and cooking requirements.
