What a pleasant surprise. We booked the Am de la Terre purely for it's location just outside of Dijon and not far off the motorway. Turns out it was up there with the best accommodation we stayed in for our Europe trip. We were greeted apon our arrival by our host Simone as we arrived in our car. Parking was easy just out the front. Our room was immaculate and beautifully presented. Breakfast was superb, I had the best French toast I've ever had!

The beautiful location including a historical setting, lovely gardens, views and wonderful comfort. Our hosts were charming and helpful, the breakfast tasty and it all felt very special. Everything was delightful including the town of Tournus. We hope to go back and stay a bit longer next time.

We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded as noone was booked into the more expensive room. It was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated and equipped. Virginie's parents joined the table for dinner one night and so we were able to practice our french as well as hear about the area from locals.

A very comfortable and well-appointed room in a charming house and garden with a generous and welcoming host.
The breakfast was superb, and the location among the vineyards delightful. Although the house is on the road, the rooms are at the back and we found ours very quiet and peaceful.
A little bit out from the beautiful town of Beaune means that you can enjoy its sights without paying premium prices.

Rooms had plenty of space and were comfortable. The owners were very helpful and made us feel welcome. The property is just outside Nolay which has a very good restaurant and is much quieter than the wine villages at the bottom of the hill. If you want to go to Beaune or any of the wine villages they are a short drive away. -

I loved everything about L'Hotel. The staff was so helpful and friendly. The rooms were maginificent, bathroom was awesome. Great housekeeping. Wonderful restauraunt and cafe next store. Location was right in the town next to one of the main squares. Would go back in a heartbeat. One city, and hotel I was sad to leave. -
