I chose the hotel due to value for money and it's great location near the beach, shops and restaurants.   A pleasant, modern, functional hotel with good restaurant in pleasant grounds by the river. We were delighted to find such a quiet and pretty spot in such a busy area - and within easy walking distance by the riverside path to the beach and Cannes. It had all we needed.   From our experience in France we find that there can be a communication problem. We did not have that problem at all at the Hotel Ambassadeur and everyone was so friendly. - Despite it being peak season and it being a fairly large hotel, there was plenty of room to move around freely and not feel cramped

  The staffs at the reception were really helpful. they know a lot about Nice, where to eat, what to do & even provided us with map and train timetable. The train station to monte carlo on 4 blocks fr the hotel! The room suits our need. We travelled with a baby so it was good to have a kitchenette. We knew before booking that room service only ... mitä ihmiset sanovat » available every other day, but didn't find that a nuisance. Carrefour just across the street, easy to get any essentials there. - We liked the well equipped kitchen. There were cleaning materials including dishwasher tablets. The parking was very secure with lift access to the hotel. The only thing was that the decor, although modern, was a bit dark and the furnishings did not make the room inviting. There is a large shopping complex containing a Carrefours supermarket, directly opposite. It is only a 300 metre walk to the tram stop which is handy.
