  Absolute gem deep in the countryside close to Villefranche s/Saone. Beautiful chateau on a 10th century foundation, beautifully restored, with wonderful rooms, very modern baths, fine linens and towels. Wonderful breakfast, with home made jams, lovely public rooms, and superior hosts. The chateau is over 1000 years old and the grounds are quite lovely. Be a great place to walk or bike the countryside.
