  Staff were great, location ideal for beach, shopping and restaurants and as a base to visit other locations such as Monaco, Villefranche and Beaulieu and proximity to airport. Having its own beach immediately opposite the hotel with the restaurant is a distinct advantage .   The staff on reception couldnt have been more helpful, the room had a lot of character and location was excellent to get the real feel of nice. We loved Le Grimaldi it was better than I expected.   I spend over 150 nights per year in hotels around Europe, but I'll always remember the 9 days I stayed at La Pérouse in early January 2009. The paroramic view from my room (504) onto the Baie des Anges, the city below and snow-capped mountains around was simply spectacular. Very courteous and helpful staff with unassuming manners. - Nice candies :)
